The things that make iPads in school a horrible decision

POCKET FROGS.

What else is there to really do when you have a triple free on a friday morning than grab an iPad and start playing Pocket Frogs?

[Play Angry Birds but that's not the point. Pocket Frogs is harmless. And they're adorable when they're babies.]

As the dear friend who forced me to update and say all of this bullshit said: 'Pocket Frogs is a breeder's paradise.'

Yeah, we're strange. But seriously, best game ever.

EVER.

I need some serious help.

Not that I want it, obviously, because I'm totally okay with a lot of the things that I think/do (which would be why I have a blog that absolutely no one reads. But seriously - there as got to be something wrong with me if I will walk five blocks away from my school to go to Starbucks to reply to someone I RP with that lives in a different country.

For those who don't know what RP means, it's the shorthand for 'roleplay'. Something I do often and with little to no shame. The particular RP partner that I will go to any length to reply to because I love her dearly, lives in England and probably has just as much, if not more, dedication than I do because she'll stay up and RP until 1 A.M. or later her time. I seriously admire her for that. Granted, I will do that same thing but it's a little more impressive when it's 9:00 P.M. my time and 1:00 A.M. hers.

Anyway, I have a problem. But I don't really have a problem with having a problem. I couldn't. It's who I am. And if she someone finds this - you are awesome. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. <3

Bow-Chika-Wow-Wow

Today, today is a great day.

Shall I name the reasons why?

1- I got exempted for P.E. because I'm the sports manager for the soccer team.

2- Apparently people find this blog funny.

3- I have so many frees!

I'm about to start freaking happy dancing but I'm in my school's Jesus filled library and that would be wrong and the librarian is already upset with me and my friends. But over all, today is a very good day and I am enjoying myself because I am listening to Shakira for writing inspiration. I really recommend it.

Also, Lavender, lovely, it was so good to hear from you again! You don't even know. But I will never ever move to the countryside. I'm a city girl at heart and it would be horrible for me to move to the countryside. Tell Violet I said hi, will you? Crazy bitch.

Sugar, I'm many things. But...

...What you think I am? That's not one of them.

Honestly, the nerve of some people will never seize to amaze me.

On the outside, I'm many things. Strong, confident, silly, perverted and yeah, sure, maybe a little provocative. But I am definitely not a slut. As I have said before, I go to an all girl school. There are no boys around for me to be slutty with. I mean, get a grip.

The Situation (No, not like the Jersey Shore):

A few of my friends and I are talking about something. I forget what the exact conversation was, but something was said that could have been construed in a perverse fashion. I, being me, started snickering because it was a bit funny. My other friends soon joined in and a few moments later our snickers faded into half-hearted giggles.

Now, in the period of time between the misconstrued comment being said and our giggles another one of my friends had walked up. She put an arm around my shoulder and said, "I mean this in the nicest way possible, but Luna? You're kind of a slut."

... Wanna repeat that for the class, dearest?

Now, this girl is someone I consider(ed) a very dear friend. There are certain things friends joke about. Like, crushes on latin teachers, gods being unicorns and Jesus being everywhere in the school. You do not joke about someone being a slut. It's just not cool and I was honestly hurt by it. I may act provocative, but that doesn't mean I sleep with every Tom, Dick and Harry that comes my way.

Am I overreacting? I don't think so.

What do you do when your friend has a crush on the new latin teacher?

That is most pressing question of the day.

What the hell do you do when your friend falls in love with the new male latin teacher with a fantastic fashion sense and a cute face? It's a very stressing thing, is it not?

The situation:

So my friend, let's call her Flora for now, walks into announcements with this goofy, ridiculous smile that no one should have after a Latin class and flops down next to me. Naturally, I ask her what's up because seriously crazy school girls or not we do not have time to get high and she replies with "I'm in loooove~"

WHAT.

I mean, I'm all about romance and the like and going against what society wants for us but seriously? The latin teacher? She could have done better than that.

Then, the teacher walks in and all is understood.

But still.

The latin teacher?

I haven't really noticed that before...

What? The Jesus? ...No, the astronomy globe.

These are the things that happen when you go to an all girl catholic school and you realize that Jesus is absolutely everywhere. It's absolutely ridiculous and a little amusing.

The first thing you see when you walk into the building?

Jesus.

You turn the corner to the staircase, what do you see?

Jesus and Mary.

You keep walking up the stairs -

Another Mary statue, a portrait of Mary, a statue of Mary and... Jesus.

In every class room, above every fire place -

Jesus.

It's like they don't trust us if we're not under the watchful eye of GOD, or something ridiculous like that. We're not completely insane. Granted, one of my friends (a blond) declared that since she was an atheist her gods were unicorns and there was nothing anyone could do about it just to spite the complete and utter JesusJesusJesus-ness of our school.

So maybe catholic school girls are crazy, that doesn't mean we need to be watched by statues of Mary and Jesus everywhere we go. It makes a girl paranoid and rebellious (Why yes, I am both) and honestly, when you don't trust a bunch of teenage girls in short uniform skirts and surround them with Jesus statues you're just asking for catholic school girls gone wild.

Its freaking ridiculous.
